Jennifer Essex

Jennifer Essex is a graduate of the Professional Program of the School of Contemporary Dancers with a BA Honors degree in dance. Over the past five years she has performed across Canada and abroad with TRIP dance company, Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers, and independent choreographers such as Rachel Browne and Stephanie Ballard.

Jennifer's own work has been presented by Young Lungs Dance Exchange, WCD, the Junior Professional Program of the School of Contemporary Dancers, Sarasvati Productions, and Theatre Serendipity. Jennifer has also studied Butoh in India and Montreal and is excited to continue exploring this form of transparent expression.
